Overview
Wanderly lets groups plan trips together without the spreadsheet chaos. I designed the end-to-end mobile experience — onboarding, collaborative itineraries, and shared budgeting.
Her research process surfaced insights we had missed for years. The new onboarding flow cut our drop-off in half.

The challenge
Group travel planning lived across five different apps, and Wanderly's early prototype tested poorly: users could not figure out how to invite friends or split costs, and day-two retention was under 20%.
Approach & solution
Twelve diary-study participants and three rounds of prototype testing reshaped the product. Invites moved to the first screen, costs became a shared ledger instead of a calculator, and the itinerary turned into a chat-like timeline the whole group could edit.
